Work fine, Good enough for me and my family Chlorine is a toxic gas, and a carcinogen (a cancer-causing agent). Before I discovered the 7th Generation “Free & Clear” bleach, I RAREly use any Chlorine bleaches (just baking soda or vinegar, the old fashioned way). It takes forever to get rid of the chlorine smell off the bleached clothing. The 7th non-chloride “free & clear” bleach does not have any harmful smells (no smell, period) nor any artificial scents, and can remove most of the stains (with some pretreatment and rubbing, if necessary) and the best of all, does not damage any fabric colors. I even use it on my favorite “no bleach” or “Non-Chlorine Bleach” clothes and beddings, when necessary. It gets job done. The only thing is its price. It is only available at Wholefoods and some of our local healthy food stores, about $4.xx. Wish Target carry it as it does with some other 7th Generation products.

Expensive Hydrogen Peroxide The active ingredient in this product is hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).Pro:Better for the environment than chlorine bleach (NaOCl).Cons:Does not work as well as chlorine bleach.More expensive than medicinal bottles of hydrogen peroxide. Doesn’t really remove stains well or keep whites from yellowing.Rating: ** out of *****
