Chad Cunningham says:

Works well, good value, but does not dissolve in cold water I like Seventh Generation products but if you wash in cold water (as everyone tells you to do these days) this is not the detergent you want. And now I’m stuck with a big container of it. While it cleans well and on a cost per load basis is a good deal (especially for a ‘natural’ product), I end up having to dissolve the powder in some hot water first and then add that to the cold wash. Otherwise, I end up with clumps of powder on my clothes or the bottom of the washer.

Carol F. Metzger says:

Five Stars for Detergent, Zero for packaging! This is a wonderful product. I would use nothing else, BUT — I had a subscription for this item, and this is the second shipment in a row that has arrived with powdered detergent leaking from the cartons. This is not acceptable. It is messy, wasteful, and a possible hazard. I have cancelled my subscription. I hope Amazon does something about containment during shipping.[…]Update, July 2012The boxes now come sealed in plastic. Problem resolved.
